Metal Music and Mindfulness from Maggie Ann Bishop on Vimeo.
Had a bit of a rough time last night at a local metal show. Came home early a little lost, decided (as per inspiration of Cristy) to video blog about it. Got a little found. Josh came home later in the night still baffled and I was able to show him the video which brought him greater understanding and clarity about the situation. Communication is good. Self-understanding is so very important.

oh oh, i know what you mean about being out. it can be hard. and frustrating.
i am going to tell you. i cannot go to shows. it's too much for me. which, considering growing up in the world of music. my friends find so odd.
I find using this medium of communication so cathartic. in my video i had mentioned how i was feeling depressed and anxious, and then just talking to virtually myself was so good! i felt so much better. which i found so weird.
and CONGRATULATIONS on your finals! i'm so excited for you. i was thinking about you all week and hoping that your finals would be successful.
the things you've talked about here tonight. have made me very thoughtful. i think i may do a video reply. because i also have a lot to say about the things you've talked about as well.
It is so so cathartic! Amazing really. Thank you for the thoughts and the congratulations, they both mean the world to me!!
I can't wait to watch your video reply, if you do one! I'm excited to hear your thoughts about these things :)
Love love-- Me ;)
I'm sure you have no idea, but you are such an inspiration to me. I look up to you and think that you are a very beautiful girl on the inside and out.
Maggie, I am hope you are feeling better. Just getting your emotions said out loud seemed to help a lot. Congrats on the finals, that is amazing. Dear, I hope things start to look up for you over winter break. We should do something together sometime, with that silly Maurine girl too.
Definantly meant I hope you are... wow.
